A project with the Institute of Physics aims to introduce aspects of the material selection work into A level Physics as part of their Advancing Physics programme. This area includes various resources including interactive material selection charts and articles discussing the effective teaching of materials in physics.
Interactive material selection charts which show material properties in a visually intuitive manner. They allow selection of suitable materials as well as providing a rapid comparison of properties between different materials.
